One of my personal favorite planets in the Star Wars universe is Mandalore. Mandalore is a planet in the outer rim territories. The inhabitants that live there are Mandalorians. I will give you a guide through the planet, the people, the way of life, and the concepts and traditions. Mandalore First off I will talk to you about the features of the planet itself. Mandalore itself is a moon with white, hot, deserts with a breathable atmosphere. However due to the intense climate, living on the bare surface is impossible. In the Force Awakens, everyone got introduced to the new villain, Kylo Ren, whose lightsaber made him unique. What if I were to tell you it wasn't and in was in fact part of a battle on the planet Malachor. The cross guard lightsaber was originally created during a battle called the Scourge of Malachor in which Jedi and Sith both fought with the verge of a super weapon being unleashed. The cross guard lightsaber had to have a cracked kyber crystal in order for the lightsaber to actually work. The way this works is that the cracked kyber crystal needs to vent excess energy, so in order to do so, vents are created on the side which give this lightsaber a more traditional sword look. In the Star Wars universe, there are a select few planets in which the Force is very strong in. Many of these planets are places where either the light or dark side strongly resides in. Here are a few of the nexuses that I know of. Mortis I already covered this location in my Force Wielders post, but I didn't go over the location itself. When 3 Jedi visited the location (see Force wielders for the specific jedi) one of them asked another if they could sense how strong the force was in Mortis and how much stronger it is in mortis than in anywhere else. This is understandable as it was the home of the 3 Force Wielders.  Dagobah Dagobah, one of the major planets in the original Star Wars trilogy is another planet that is strong in the force. In Star Wars the lightsaber is an elegant weapon, but only for those who know how to use it properly. Light saber combat is a key component in many lightsaber battles. Without it, you would be mindlessly swinging around a laser sword randomly with no pattern or opening in your opponent. There are 7 forms of lightsaber combat, each has a different attack style and strength and weakness. Here are the forms. First of is the first form of lightsaber combat known as Shi-Cho or "the way of the Sarlacc" or simply the determination form. It was designed for engaging multiple enemies and was not reccomended for those who were facing a single enemy as a single opponent could find an opening in the clumsy strikes.
