Daily Topic: Project Blackwing/ Imperial Bioweapon project 71a

In most popular communities/Fandoms there seems to always be a zombie like creature a one point or another. Star Wars is one of those.

The Sickness, later being known as Imperial Bio-weapons Project I71a, was a disease created by the process of Sith Alchemy. The disease targeted the victims biological tissue and destroyed it and in the process turned victims into undead monsters. Originally created by Darth Drear on the planet Odacer-Faustin, the disease was intended to give immortality to its maker, Drear failed multiple times and eventually fell victim to his own creation. One thousand years later, the Sith lord Darth Scabrous attempted to recreate the virus, hoping to succeed where his predecessor had failed. Like Drear, Scabrous failed an unintentionally unleashed the virus on the staff and students at the academy on Odacer-Faustin. Eventually the Sith acolytes and Masters died and were reborn as cannibalistic monsters.

Three thousand years later after the Odacer-Faustin breakout, Sith lord and Supreme commander of the Imperial military, Darth Vader, rediscovered the virus and began to lay groundwork for its recreation. He ordered the Imperial Bioweapons division to synthesize the virus as to actually work as a horrific bioweapon. This was called Imperial Bioweapons project 71a or codename project Blackwing.

 The scientists involved in the project managed to synthesize an airborne version of the virus as well as the original liquid version. However a leak in the canisters transporting the airborne version caused the virus to get released onto the Vector ( the ship in which project blackwing was being created). This caused dozens of troopers and personal on board to get infected. However the scientists also discovered that there were some who were naturally immune to the virus. This allowed them to create enough anti-virus for only 2 people. The result was a massive outbreak which created the Undead Troopers, or stormtroopers infected by project Blackwing.

So now you know that even star wars has its own version of zombies! Tread carefully and may the force be with you.

In the Force Awakens, everyone got introduced to the new villain, Kylo Ren, whose lightsaber made him unique. What if I were to tell you it wasn't and in was in fact part of a battle on the planet Malachor. The cross guard lightsaber was originally created during a battle called the Scourge of Malachor in which Jedi and Sith both fought with the verge of a super weapon being unleashed. The cross guard lightsaber had to have a cracked kyber crystal in order for the lightsaber to actually work. The way this works is that the cracked kyber crystal needs to vent excess energy, so in order to do so, vents are created on the side which give this lightsaber a more traditional sword look. Nexuses of The Force

In the Star Wars universe, there are a select few planets in which the Force is very strong in. Many of these planets are places where either the light or dark side strongly resides in. Here are a few of the nexuses that I know of. Mortis I already covered this location in my Force Wielders post, but I didn't go over the location itself. When 3 Jedi visited the location (see Force wielders for the specific jedi) one of them asked another if they could sense how strong the force was in Mortis and how much stronger it is in mortis than in anywhere else. This is understandable as it was the home of the 3 Force Wielders.  Dagobah Dagobah, one of the major planets in the original Star Wars trilogy is another planet that is strong in the force. This is one of the main reasons why it is so easy for force ghosts like Ben and Qui-gon. This is also why Yoda chose to stay here during his exile due to it's strong connection to the Force.
